Volunteers
The GPCA is run entirely by volunteers. Below the entire system is broken down into a list of small jobs, with the person who currently carries out each one. If you’re interested in helping with something, please email chair@ourgoldsworthpark.org.uk or editor@ourgoldsworthpark.org.uk.

Advertising manager Paul Webster: paul@websterconsultancy.co.uk
Seeks out and collects all of the advertising for the magazine.

Editor – George Binyon
Checks the emails at editor@ourgoldsworthpark.org.uk, assigns the other jobs to volunteers, manages the deadlines and works with the chair of the GPCA to plan the future of the magazine and website content. Keeps this page up to date and seeks out new contributors and editorial volunteers.

Roving reporters – Michael Farlam, Malcolm Head and Royer Slater – Visit events in the area, take photos and write reports to let residents know how they went. Go out to interview local people and write reviews on interesting places nearby. Seek out news that we might not find through other channels.

Proof-readers – Robin Smith, Colin Salmon, Sue Harvey, and Robin Spice.  Read the copy before it goes to the designer and spot things that make no sense, spelling mistakes, grammatical errors and inconsistent styles. Once magazine is final, give feedback on the overall magazine content and ideas for future editions.

Webmaster and website editor –Steve Willson. Uploads contributions to the website as they are received, and lets the social media editor know they can post a link. Makes sure other pages on the site are up to date and tidy.
Plans and manages the website and email accounts.

Social media editor – new volunteer needed
