THE GPCA is holding its spring litter pick on Saturday May 1 starting at 2pm.  Meet by the public toilets in the recreation ground, keeping your social distance, for a quick briefing.  Please wear stout shoes and bring gardening gloves.  Litter pick sticks, bin bags and high viz tabards will be provided. Under Woking Council’s Covid regulations, we are required to keep a register of the names and contact details, e.g. mobile phone numbers, of those involved so, to save time on the day and if you have not already contact us, please would you let us know in advance if you plan to take part. Email chair@ourgoldsworthpark.org.uk
The register will be kept for 21 days then destroyed.  Also, to save time, we will send you a written safety briefing note before the event. The areas to be cleaned up include North Meadow, the trees round the recreation ground, the woods, the lake path and the woods near the shopping centre, and any roads which are in in need of a litter pick, e.g. the roads around Beaufort School.  If you know of any other areas in need of attention, please let us know.
