Goodbye bottle banks

In a move that will save tax payers £90,000 per year, Woking Borough Council is removing the Borough’s paper and glass bottle banks and replacing them with upgraded facilities to collect other types of recyclables.

Three collection facilities, including Goldsworth Park Industrial Estate, will close altogether from the 30 November 2015. However enthusiastic recyclers can request an additional blue-lidded bin, free of charge, if they cant fit all their recyclables into one bin.
