Surrey Half Marathon has almost sold out of places. Anyone keen to take part in the half marathon, or the closed-road 5km run (one of the largest of it’s kind in the UK), or see their child run in the kids’ run, is should book their place now.
If running’s not your thing, The Mercer Surrey Half Marathon, to give its full title, recruits over 250 local volunteers to come and hand out medals, and cheer every last runner over the finish line. Anyone can volunteer; there is no selection process, simply sign up and turn up!
