St Andrew’s is the friendly, community-focussed Parish Church at the heart of Goldsworth Park. We’d love to welcome you at a Sunday service or in our Coffee Shop during the week. You’ll find people of all ages and backgrounds from a variety of nationalities and cultures. We are a family-friendly church with clubs and activities for children and young people, plus activities and events for older people.

Tuesdays:        Open Access (young people aged 13 – 19) 6.30 – 9 pm

Thursdays        Open Access (young people aged 13 – 19) 6.30 – 9 pm

Lakers Youth Centre offers informal education for young people in a safe and warm environment with opportunities to learn, socialise and participate in projects leading to employability skills and accredited outcomes.  This is delivered by professionally trained youth workers, youth workers in training or through peer education/mentoring by trained young leaders.  The Centre offers young people the opportunity to seek support and information around issues that affect them throughout their everyday lives.

Goldsworth Care is a voluntary organisation assisting those living on Goldsworth Park who find it difficult getting to Hospitals, Doctors and other similar appointments.  We ask for a donation for our petrol costs.

Description
Goldsworth Park has multiple Rainbow, Brownie and Guide groups that are all held in their very own building. Females of any age can join in the fun, whether you 5 or 65+ we offer the chance to enjoy activities, camps and make friends of all ages and backgrounds.

Runs on: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays
Other Information
We have 3 Rainbows Units all of which run from around 4:30pm – 5:30pm (Girls aged 5 – 7yrs)

We have 5 Brownies Units, these all start around 6pm – 7:30pm (Girls aged 7-10yrs)

We have 2 Guide units which are from around 7:30 – 9pm (Girls aged 10+)

All unit meetings are held at the Generation Centre in Goldsworth Park throughout term time.

All girls are welcome, please get in contact if you wish to either get your daughter to attend or if you are interested in helping out on a voluntary basis with one of the units.

 

Sing Gold

Goldsworth Park’s community choir is for people who just want to have fun singing with others. Meets in St Andrew’s Church, Goldsworth Park Centre, Tuesdays 7.30-9pm. There’s no joining form or subscription. (Donations towards running costs are welcome.)
